Kinden's Bakery is located at 151 Main st at the entrance to the largest marina in all of Atlantic Canada. Since its opening in 2019 it has become a staple of central Newfoundland and a popular tourist spot during the summer months. Kinden's is open year round, fully licensed  and also is a hot spot for local events including open mic nights, craft nights, private chef events and more!

Certified organic, fair trade and absolutely delicious, Kinden's is proud to partner with Just Us! coffee roasters in Grand Pre NS to bring you the smoothest and tastiest blend around! Our house roast is rich in fruit and toffee flavor notes and is also available at the Campbellton Berry Farm, Lewisporte Independent Grocery and in St. Johns at Urban Market 1919

Our menu is ever changing and provides tastes for all palates. From lunch and supper options, to scrumptious desserts and ice cream menu (seasonal) there is always something for everyone. Our cafe is also fully licensed and serves a variety of wine, beer and spirits.

Haley has been designing and creating one of a kind custom cakes since 2009! Since then she has made thousands of designs in hundreds of themes! The possibilities are endless!  Haley is a dedicated hockey mom of three who followed her passion for baking after a rewarding career as a paramedic in Lewisporte. Coming from a family of bakers—both her father and grandfather owned beloved bakeries—Haley is thrilled to carry on their legacy while serving her community. With deep roots in her family’s tradition and a genuine love for giving back, she’s built Kinden’s Bakery and Cafe into a welcoming hub that embodies her values and commitment to the people of Lewisporte 

 Chef Shannon is a talented culinary artist, a devoted mother of two, and one of the warmest, most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet. A graduate of culinary school in 2006, Shannon has honed her craft in a variety of commercial kitchens, gaining invaluable experience in menu creation and innovative cuisine. With a true passion for her work, she brings an extraordinary mix of expertise and creativity to every dish she prepares. Shannon’s dedication to introducing new culinary experiences to Lewisporte makes her an invaluable part of our team—and a cherished chef in the community.  

 Caleb is a dedicated barista at Kinden’s Bakery and Cafe, known for his friendly, community-centered spirit and knack for making each customer feel at home. As Haley’s son, he shares a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the heart of the cafe. Beyond his role behind the counter, Caleb is a talented musician, having performed at major events like the Mussel Bed Soiree and the Gander Festival of Flight. His blend of musical creativity and genuine care for others adds a unique charm to every experience at Kinden’s. 

Aiden is a dedicated chef’s assistant at Kinden’s Bakery and Cafe and brings a natural love for food, inherited from his culinary-talented parents, Chef Shannon and his father. Growing up around great food, Aiden developed a deep passion for the art of cooking and delights in connecting with customers through his creations. His enthusiasm and creativity make him an invaluable part of the cafe team, adding warmth and skill to every dish he helps prepare. 

Larry is Haleys father-in-law extraordinaire! When Larry is not helping Haley with all her projects you can find him and wife Allison (who also occasionally frequents the dish pit- Thank you Allison!) outdoors or hanging with the grandkids!
